Subsequently, there is suppose to be one every 300,000 years and the last massive pole shift that did damage to earth took place 700,000+ years ago. The next one is suppose to be sometime near 2012.

Firstly, he had an intellect of the highest order - ranking with Einstein, Da Vinci, Aristotle and others that are so rare they are only born every few centuries.

Secondly, he had true scientific integrity, objectivity and humility. The conclusion of his study (i.e. a post-2060 end time) illustrates this perfectly - i.e. he acknowledged that he could not give an actual date only a 'lower bound' and that this date was well beyond his own lifetime. 

The fact that such a mind spent years studying biblical prophecy (esp. Revelation) can be taken to validate the study material - i.e. had he found the material contradictory, internally inconsistent or erroneous he would have not had the confidence to record his conclusions with a clear conscience.

Well, events have so far proved Newton to be correct and Revelation has spread throughout the world just as is written in its own pages. Nuclear weapons have been invented (Rev 10) the mass-produced automobile dominates the world (Rev 9) and the military build up continues apace in the armies, navies and airforces of all nations (also Rev 9). 

So please don't expect anything to happen as far as the 'end' of the world in 2012 - it won't happen until sometime beyond 2060 - but it is well under way.
