Good idea premeet.   I guess I will go first.
 
I'm Albert, and I reside in southern California.  I'm also your humble Admin of this site.   Most of us here started from our orginal site that we started 5 years ago called Avian Flu Talk.com.  Several us started tracking the next pandemic back in 2005 on Avian Flu Talk, and that site was one of the first-ever pandemic awareness sites.   And then some of the people later migrated from Avian Flu Talk.com over to our other sister site at swineflu.org.    What can I say .... tracking diseases and the End ot Times is a hobbie I suppose....   no pain no gain.   Wink

Hi, I am FluMom and started at Avian Flu Talk tracking and prepping for Avian Flu and any other disaster.  I live in Colorful Colorado and am as prepped as can be.  Started prepping for 5 - 6 years.  I was messed up from the Cuban Crisis and the Cold War and an Aunt who was an early prepper.  She thought we all could survive the "Bomb". LOL!!

Hi,
I'm Rickster. I'm an aussie who joined AFT a few years back when H5N1 started to crank up in Asia. I followed, and joined the Swineflu.org site when Swine Flu became known. I thank all the contributors to those sites for the balanced, informative information that was made available to all.
 
I truly believe that AFT and Swineflu.org were a lifeline of information and hope to those who realised they were being fed B/S by TPTB during the swine flu pandemic. I know I learned an immense amount about survival and have now fully prepared my family for most catastrophes.
 
To Albert, I sincerely thank you for the foresight you have had in the past, being there and ready to respond when crisis strikes. Your sites present a balanced viewpoint, are well moderated and held in the highest esteem by those who visit regularly.
 
I am very interested in world events, especially those which could potentially end our civilisation as we know it. As time goes by, I see more and more evidence that what we see, and are led to believe in this world as truth,  is not necessarily the truth at all - often far from it.
 
As 2012 approaches more and more people are going to be swept up in an ever increasing tide of anxiety and fear. There is so much B/S and disinformation out there regarding supposed events of 2012 that this forum is tipped to become the source of truth regarding 2012.
 
Anyway, I am pleased to be here and happy to help in any way I can.

Hi,
I'm here in southern Missouri.  I took a time out from the site, but I'm always watching.  I'm going to start looking for some more interesting stories to post when I get time.  Right now with summer, vacation, work, etc, I'm busy, but have not forgotten.  I'll be back soon.  Look forward to having a little more time in a couple of weeks to spend around here.  :)
